We'll hold two suites, or more.
Health authorities, BC Ferries, the Nation, the school district, contractors — we can lease two or more suites under a single agreement to your organization, and you place your own people. One lease, one invoice, guaranteed availability on an island with almost no rental supply. Call us before you look anywhere else.

The only two-bedroom suite we have, and it sits in its own building above the garage — private entrance, no shared walls, nobody above you. Two separate bedrooms, each with its own desk, so two people can share without living on top of each other. Full kitchen with a proper stove and oven. The laundry room is directly downstairs, so this is the easiest suite in the building for wash day. Partial ocean views from every room and the beach across the road.

Ground floor, a handful of stairs — no hauling groceries up a flight. Queen in the bedroom and a full bed in the living room, so there's room for family when they visit. Bay views from the front windows and the boardwalk out the door. The only ground-floor suite with a bathtub.

Ground floor with a shared garden and porch — the one to take if you want to be outside. Queen in the bedroom, sofa bed in the living room. Sunsets over the water from the living room windows and beach access a few steps away.

The view is the whole point — the Broughton Archipelago, the ferry coming in, eagles working the updraft off the point. Private porch, one bedroom, kitchenette, and a proper workspace to sit and watch the strait change all day. The offices below empty out at the end of the workday, so evenings and weekends you effectively have the building to yourself: no neighbours through the wall, nobody overhead, no late-night noise.

Peterson Apartments · 126 Cedar Street · up the hill

The biggest one-bedroom we have — 800 square feet on the top floor of Peterson Apartments, named for the late Gordie Peterson, former Mayor of Alert Bay. Open-concept living room, a full kitchen with stove and oven, a king bed and a dedicated workspace. The private balcony has a BBQ and looks straight out over the bay. This second-floor suite comes with access to shared laundry and a parking space.

Come and see it
If you're on the island we'll walk you through. If you're not, we'll do a video call and send the full photo set the same day.
Agreement and deposit
BC Residential Tenancy Branch standard form — you get a copy to read before you sign. Security deposit is half a month's rent. We walk the suite together and both sign the condition report.
Rent on the first
E-transfer or direct deposit. 12-month minimum, then month-to-month with one month's notice when you're ready to move on.

The Founder's Vista is available from November 1. Our other Cedar Street suites are tenanted with long-term renters, so join the waitlist and we'll let you know when one opens.
